Idaho?

If anyone in the Caldwell area is interested, I called Dunlap to see if they are going to get any Polish this spring and they said they have tons of Polish babies in their store right now. I am in Garden City, but I may pick some up when I am in Caldwell on Monday.

oh lord i almost want to go out there and grab some but i think i'm on my limit of polishs i have 5 hens and two roosters in the polish breed but i still want a blue polish and a splash and white ><

LOVE their topknots... but mine is the biggest squawker of the bunch!! (only have 1 polish in our assorted flock)

Anyone have a chicken muzzle?

Anybody want my two roosters? I am getting in trouble because of the noise the one adult rooster is making,...he never shuts up. The other one is just being mean and chasing the chicks away from the big waterer (good thing I keep the two small ones filled with water and keep them in the coop).

take them up to idaho falls with us to sell them or give them away.. if you have to crate them thats what i do with my roosters i crate them at night and let them out late morning and to be honest doing that actually made them slow down on there crowing i barely hear them crow now

oh i hear you there.. one of my black/white crest is a screamer like no other she is louder then my baredrock.. but at least my neighbors arent bothered by her screaming all day.. she just asking for attention though once i hold her her screams become coos and if i put her down she will start screaming too.. thats the thing about polish's they are the louder chickens they are very vocal for sure

The territorial one hasn't crowed yet and he is 4 months old so still a young roo. I am actually beginning to think he is a hen, I told him he had a month and a half to either crow or lay an egg...lol. The noisy one I can just return to the previous owners, they said if we had any problems with him that we could return him, I will miss him though, he is a gorgeous Welsummer/Maran cross. I will make my mind up on what to do about them by the time ChickenStock comes around.

I would keep the noisy one but one of my neighbor's is being a jerk about the noise he is making... I mean come on, if you don't want to hear animals make noise than maybe you shouldn't live out in the country, but in their defense they did live there before we moved to the house next door

I wish you were closer. I want a Welsummer really bad and the little Marans I got as emergency friends for my lonely only hatcher have stolen the hearts of me and my kids. But I only get to IF once in a while so not sure if I'll get to chickenstock or not.

So.. I have never been out to Dunlap... is it a place I could walk in and purchase just 1? I have been looking for a duckling friend for my Khaki and I saw they have them! (Were as D&B and such has been out).
