Maybe that without the standard chicks they aren't as warm. Or there might have been a postal gorilla at some point, and it's just that the others are fine and those two the weakest.

Even in a home hatch of 25 you can lose a couple a few days later.

Good luck with the rest. It is so hard to know what happens in transit. That's the hard part.

My babies made it safe and sound, but one of them is deformed.

It doesn't have an eye socket on the right side, and it doesn't really open it's eye on the left. I called Ideal and they said they'd credit me because 'it will probably die', gee, thanks

ETA: They didn't send any extras, which in a way is a good thing. But they also didn't have enough of the oegb that I ordered, so my order was short. I guess that's what I get for ordering so late in the year.
