If you woke up as a duck one morning...

I think I'd be a female call duck...that way I could scream all the time, fly, and jump right into the pool and take charge! Like my gray hen, "Noisy"! I think I'd take the chance to beat up my drakes too, when they decide to try and fight...

I like green, and I can't see that changing as a duck, and I think I would like to eat lots of fresh grass. I don't know about the kelp, but I'd eat all those dried greens out of the bowl that everybody else wastes...but I definitely don't like the idea of laying eggs! Maybe I'd be a sterile hen.

All I know is that if I woke up a duck, I'd want TerrieLacy to be my mommy.

hmmm...id probably be a runner duck considering how tall and skinny i am. id be a female
my favorite food would probably be....watermelon! like my duckies
and considering im shy but have a fighting side, i'd probably be around the top of the pecking order. my spouse would be even with me, everyone else below me i guess. i wouldn't really bully the lower ones, maybe every once and a while for some fun, but id be fine fighting with them to get them there! lmao

oh and most importantly, i think i'd want nettie to be my mommy! then i'd be spoiled rotten! and hey, she has runners, so its perfect! so nettie if i ever end up a duck, will you be my mommy?

WATERMELON!! I gave my ducks watermelon for the first time ever today. Took em a while but they liked it!

priss my ducks LOVEEE watermelon!! they used to run up to me and eat pieces out of my fingers when they were babies. and if they dropped it, they waiting for me to pick it up to give it to them. they don't love me that much anymore lmao. they'll come running for watermelon but they won't come that close. stinkers.

Nettie and I tried giving Victor and Ming Mei watermelon and they didn't seem to care for it.

I think Vinny and Ollie had some before we took them in and they loved it so I guess I'll be buying some watermelon in the not so distant future (thankfully they make mini sized watermelons that are available year-round now.)

Some of my previous ducks went nuts over watermelon. I didnt cut it up though- just cut a whole one into quarters and let them go for it. My current ducks still enjoy it, but no more feeding frenzies when I do give it to them. Mangoes on the other hand- they LOVE. I sit outside on the ground with a bag of them and cut bits off. I have ducks scrambling all over the top of me to get it. I always need a shower afterwards. But it is such fun.

If I was a duck I would want to be like my Flipps. She is a White Runner, with HUGE personality.
I would be a loud quacker like her - and my favorite food would have to be Mango too. I would have to be a girl duck- and would love to have a pretty Harlequin Drake as a companion. I would have to be a dominant duck- I rule the roost in my house- and I like it that way. And I would also love to have some of Netties duck shoes- a pair in every colour.....actually make that two pairs.

I am very big and tall, so I would be a Saxony duck

2. What would be your favorite food (based on your favorite food as a human but taking into account restrictions in duck diets)?

I am all about the fat and protein with my human diet, so as a duck I would be stealing all the fish out of the pond and scarfing worms

3. Where would you be in the pecking order if your spouse, significant other, parents, or siblings were ducks too?

I would rule the flock with an iron fist...err...uhhh...BILL!​
