I'm at a loss, please help my hen

this happened to my chicken she was about 4 and was very weak. does she seem to pant whenever shes hot?

A couple months back, my next door neighbor had a hen who could not stand or use her legs. She had been stung by a scorpion. They separated her from the flock and put a shallow dish of water, and a shallow dish of feed close to her. In about 4 days, she was up and walking around again. You didn't mention what region that you live in, so I don't know if you have scorpions around or not.

no shes died i thought she had worms but i found out that there was a cracked egg inside of her

poor girl, how did you find out she had a cracked egg? lol

one of the members on byc realised and help me but when she answered my chicken had already died

Swelling of the abdomen can be an indication of internal laying/reproductive disorders like Egg Yolk Peritonitis, Ascites, Salpingitis, cancer or tumors. Symptoms can include loose droppings, loss of appetite, weight loss in the breast area, sometimes swelling from egg masses/matter or fluid in the abdomen, difficulty breathing and limping/difficulty walking. Antibiotic usually have little effect, so try to make her comfortable, offer some poultry vitamins and extra protein like chopped egg or tuna in addition to her normal feed.
