I'm getting the itch. Anyone want to hatch some eggs?

I was turning my eggs and dropped one. Ugh. It was not a repairable crack. I felt awful. But here's a chick at 100 hours in the incubator. It was a white frizzle. One I was really looking forward to.

Good luck Wendy! I hope you get her going, I would have no idea where to start. So, I could not stand it anymore and candled (with my cellphone flashlight, so not great conditions) but there is definite development in in 12 of the dorking eggs yay! 1 is weird looking and I can't see the air sack, looks like the embryo is pasted to the very top of the egg. I did not check the others because they are brown shells so I think it would be fruitless without the good flashlight. Friday I will get my husbands good light and check them all. Only about 4 of them looked like the pics from the candling link the rest looked less developed than 5 days. I guess I will see friday, I hope they all keep going!!!

That's exciting! Are you going to pull your weird one or let it incubate to see what happens? I'm sorry Texaschickyall that happened to your egg!

Hey guys! Getting close to lockdown! If I set the eggs Saturday 1st July, should I candle and lockdown tonight or tomorrow night? (do I count day 1 as the first 24 hrs past basically) happy hatching all! xx
