So sorry. I don't advise trying to have a "secret flock," there is always at least one neighbor who feels it is their duty, to point you out to animal control or anyone else.

So glad to have you as a part of the community. What an awesome little flock you have, with so many cool breeds! It's so nice that they're gentle enough to be handled by your kids. I'm unsure of any chicken keeping laws for the area you are moving to, but if you don't have any luck here perhaps call the City itself and see if anyone can provide information for you?

I never suggested that I'd have a "secret flock". First off, I have TWO roosters so there is NO possible way that'd be kept a "secret".

Thank you! Took me a few years to get on to a website like this! I just want what is best for the chickens in regards to moving across the county.
