I'm planning to hatch chicks for sale for the first time soon.

Thankfully I have a friend that's willing to take any troublesome chickens since he uses them for meat.
I plan to sell strait runs for now but with my private flock usually as soon as I know they are roos, I don't waste the time, feed, and space when it's not a broiler or good breeding genetics. I do have a hard time picking between my breeding roos sometimes though and have had to make a bachelor flock in the past 🤣

Had to step out for a bit, we are now up to 14 with this one

I have one of the 5 I suspect to be male and he's a bit of jerk to the other chicks and hates being handled. I'm on the fence about giving up though because he's very aware of his surroundings and could be a good watch bird for the others.

In my experience it doesn't matter how good of a watch bird he is if he is aggressive. You don't want that struggle to not lose an eye every day
