I'm really hoping this EE isn't a roo <PICS>

I think it's a roo- that's very rooish coloring. In an EE the male coloring is often this white with red in the middle, black or gray on both ends type of thing.

I have one very similar.

My experience with EEs has also been that they lay later rather than earlier, and so 11 weeks would be far too early to have the maturing color in the face and comb- I have one 22 weeks who is not but the same amount of red in her face and comb. She's considering laying now, but she's 10 weeks older than yours.

That being said, I think I see a skinny feather in the back, as well...those skinny feathers are the real sign...

I had a cockerel in the bunch, and his comb was bright red and a lot wider at only a few weeks old. Maybel's is just starting to get pink, and really hasn't gotten any bigger.
