I'm shocked I am asking for this....

Pleased to report she's out of surgery and in recovery. The surgeon drained two abcesses from her chest and while doing that they took a portion of her collar bone and first rib. I'm not exactly sure why.

Don't worry about the collarbone - lots of racing jockeys get sick of breaking them and have them taken out...a person can do without them completely.

Thank you all.

I will be leaving with two of my other neices en route to Eureka today. Its almost an 11 hour drive. No updates since last night....I guess thats a good thing.
