I'm thankful for _________ this week.

I'm thankful for being alive today and ALL that comes with it. I have so many joys in life it'd be hard to pin point one or two. I'm just......thankful.

I am thankfull for......family. We just had 50 cornish cross butchered. 20 were to be sold...but only 10 actually made it out. So, there are 40 chickens and 3 turkeys in my freezer...and its PACKED! Tomorrow the pigs go to butcher. I have been stressing over not haveing freezer space for the pig. Upon talking to my aunt...in GA, she told me she wanted to send me enough to buy a freezer. Of course I protested, but she sent the money anyways. The check came in today....and shortly after the mail ran, my baby sister called. She lives in Louisville,KY. Her and I have not really seen eye to eye over the last few years. She asked if I was still looking for a freezer, and I told her I was. She said she found one for us, but we had to meet her in another town, about 40 minutes away. OK, so off I go...to meet her. When we get close, I called and said...where exactly am I going? She said...meet me at the Home Depot. She bought us a freezer!!! I cant explain...Just how blessed we have been this week. We finished the monster coop and runs ( 12x30 coop with 4 seperate pens and runs), got a check, and freezer. Oh, and was able to get a FREE fridge off freecycle to use for egg storage in the garage. THANK YOU LORD...FOR THE MANY BLESSINGS!

I am thankful for all that has NOT been taken away - love, family, food, house, chickens, job, 1/2 tank in the car, my mom, my son, etc......

Im thankful for websites like this, where we can come and get away from everything for a while and enjoy something that we have in common. Especially when there aren't any political discussions going on! Life is easier without politics and we all get along better....

I am thankful for a loving husband, sons and my parents and friends. And I am VERY thankful that my Grandparents celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary this past week! I am lucky indeed to still have them both

EVERYTHING!

My mom home from her SECOND stint in the hospital and doing well, prayers answered, an intelligent, thoughtful person in the White House, a huge improvement in the health issues my husband has been struggling with for AGES, a new doctor who is helping with that immensely, my church family who is the most supportive group of people you could ever want to meet, my dogs, my amazing daughter who is THRIVING after moving up a grade (another answered prayer), and just SO MUCH MORE!
