Today is day four of my two-year-old hen having an impaction. At first as a newbie I just removed the food but she wasn’t eating anyway and I have been syringing electrolyte water ever 1-2 hours 2-5 ml. I was doing olive oil and then warm water - massaging consistently. Day 3 I gave monistat once- still fluid and olive oil. Here we are day 4 I am getting aggressive - monistat twice - coconut oil x 2 and epson salt x 3 with pineapple juice. Consistent water electrolytes and rooster booster. She is alert when I walk in- she will stand and walk when I put her on floor and poop- most times runny- at least 3 poops today had very little formed matter. I am concerned with day 5 and no food yet. Just looking for some advice . Thank you

Goodness, it seems you are doing everything right for impaction. I hope she comes through it!
Thank you- any thoughts on pushing some food tomorrow - a slurry or something- I am concerned her organs will be affected. She is such a fighter

I would try damp feed, yogurt or scrambled eggs. If you can add a drop or two of vitamins to the food, such as rooster booster or poly-vi-sol, I would do that as well.

thought on egg yolk with yogurt so I can make a slurry for syringe

Do you know when this hen last laid? Can you post a picture of her droppings? Have you ever wormed her or had a fecal done to test for parasites? What do you feed, including all treats, and do they have grit available all the time?

Yes I have grit plus the run is good construction sand- it’s 100% impacting. I do appreciate the other thoughts- all poop was liquid- yesterday there was small pieces of form and this am I had a bigger formed one. I think she is on the road to recovery- she sipped a little on her own- I will still repeat yesterday routine and just add some feed
