In an emergency, is it safe to eat the geese at my local park?

Would all of those laws and the PETA people stop you from eating a wild goose if there was some sort of end-of-the-world scenario?
Now that I think of it, just get a roo, cochin hens, meat birds, and some good laying breeds.

Yes animal cruelty is the worst and anyone caught being intentionally cruel to an animal should be strung up and beaten.
However PETA takes things too far as they want everyone to be vegan. Look up some of their campaigns; they are ridiculous and costly and will not change the world.

I take the same stand on it. We are supposed to have dominion and not be slaves to animals. Plus, I don't want to be vegan.

Cause I mean, they eat a lot of filthy garbage and swim in what can only charitably be called a pond. But if the world ends and I have no food I have to assume they'll look pretty good. Do I just have to cook them really well? Or are there other butcher things I'd have to know to have a safe eating experience?

If you want to eat them legally hunt them. Like get your hunting license, migratory bird stamp, and a shotgun. You can eat them, just do it legally.

If the end of the world is coming I plan on eating a lot worse things if need be.

Er OK we were just saying dont eat them now. The end of the world will be a lot more stressful than that I'm afraid.
