Incubating and hatching eggs chat thread!!

I don't have broody pens. I work crazy hours... wake at 3am for work. Broodies are wearing me down. I don't have time to put them in individual cages with food and water to try to break them... it's a fulltime job.
I started just giving them an egg or two. I found it easier to let them hatch 1. I am still new to this but I've currently got 3 broodies and a momma with her chicks (2 weeks old).

I get so excited when a chick hatches.

I had one lone coturnix hatch this morning, really wasn't expecting any more. Just in case,I will wait until tomorrow to clean that incubator out.
Placed the bobwhites in lockdown. ANYTHING that hatches from those eggs will be a miracle in my mind. Since I've already resigned myself to 0% hatch, one would be like Christmas morning.lol

@JRNash from what I've read about hatching/incubating, the lower temp could cause a delayed hatching right? So if you were originally planning for Friday it may be an extra day or so?
I'm following with much interest...hope they hatch!
