Ok so now I'm worried. Its day 16. They been wiggling since yesterday. Well all day today only 1 has wiggled. No changes in humidity or temperature today so what's happening? Are the others dead? What causes other eggs to just stop wiggling when they were the day before?
NONE of mine wiggled visibly before they hatched. I watched for straight hours and nope, not one. Yet they all popped out on days 17-19. Yours might just be resting; it takes a lot of energy to break out of an egg, and once they pip internally they have to absorb their yolk. Give them time, if nothing else has changed they're probably fine.
It’s so hard to wait near the end! I bet you’ll have pips in the morningOh thank god! We went bowling to spend time together as a family for the 4th and I thought I killed them by being gone to long! None have pipped yet (much to my impatience) and none of them are chirping inside the egg like I heard They are supposed to on day 16. I did play some quail chicks chirping sounds on my phone to encourage them to not give up on me lol. And ive been talking to them and playing music I'm a very impatient person and have been staring at them for hours today looking for a pip. At one point I thought a spot was a pip and started yelling before I realised lol. I cant wait for them to hatch though! I don't know how people do incubating eggs that take longer than this lol
