No i havnt just water to keep it moist. Now does anyone know if he will straighten his neck out and stop laying with it on his chest?

Extra vitamins and electrolytes in extreme weather
Extra probiotics = the best in my opinion fermenter feed
Un filterd ACV in the water.
A lot of greens and vegetables
Some exte materials that keep the parasites at bay - for me hot paprika
And imidiat treatment of any disease

Question twice i caugjt my incubator down at 18 humidity. Today i caught it at 17. Will my eggs be ok im in cali. The temp has stayed constant tho.

It all depends on how much moisture they're losing. A couple days low doesn't really matter as much as the average weight loss through day 18.

Thanks! We don't have any aerial predators, but we occasionally have attacks of mongooses, this is a predator that is a nightmare for chicken growers! It is a predetot that can enter to your coop trough a hole of lees than a 10 cm diameter and can kill ALL you chicken in! I saw more then once, coops that have had 20-30 birds that have lost every one of them in one night!

Because it is an excellent snake and rodents exterminator it is protected by the low.

Now you feel my pain with mink.

Mink are a protected furbearer here with a defined trapping season but if they're killing your livestock, you can kill them.

I put them in on monday night. The incubator says day 2. I thought the alarm is suposted to go off when lowwrr the 18? Will they be ok

Maybe your hygrometer is wrong.

We have this Mango breed ( I have 2 young trees from it) calld "MAYA" it is one of the best, the aroma the taste are superb! And it don't have any annoying fibers that stuck in your teeth!

Is your equipment calibrated? What incubator are you using? How many thermometers? Hygrometers?

Wonderful markets that have all year long the season fruit and vegetables it is EXTREMELY fresh!
This is the first Mango from my tree this year.

Nice. We have great farmer's markets but all but one close in winter.

Costa Rica Ferias are fabulous for fruits and vegetables. Or you can just pick the fruit in your backyard.

This is my inucbator. I have the thermomiter that came with and bought a duel hydrothungy and thermomiter from the reptile section at petsmart.

Those are notoriously inaccurate. At least the ones I bought were.

There are some parasitic worm that their intermediate host are snails and slugs, gape worm ,and some other.

Insect from one hand are grate food source for them but there is always the tisk of infection! And the truth is that all chicken have parasites, the influence of them on the chicken is depending on their Load, and is dependent on the helth and the immune efficiency of the chicken immune system, instead on treating parasites invest in preventing from them to reach the load that make a damage.

I almost never worm chickens.

On another thread a vet said "20% of your flock/herd will have 80% of the parasites"

A feed store was giving a talk about chickens. I think this guy worked for the Fetrell feed company. He said that about snails, and he also said you need to give your chickens mash because of this: (he said) feed gets spilled at the feed place every day while they fill up the bags, etc., and at the end of the day, they sweep up all the spilled feed (pig food, turkey food, chicken food, all of it) and mix it in with the chicken food. I should have taken every thing else he said with a grain of salt after that! First of all, wouldn't they put it in the pig food instead if they were going to mix it in with other food? And second, wouldn't this place that does this go out of business? I don't know if I should believe that or not, but I still don't feed my chickens mash. He said he saw this happening at a place he worked in. I have a book by him, but I can't find it, which is probably a good thing.
