Thanks!

I would also be interested in watching a caponizing also.

I do have the stomach for it, my job makes butchering look like a day camp.

Name gary.
Location SW Michigan
I have 50 years of experiance. Made my first $ butching chickens.
I have whiz bang plucker and scalding setup.

Name: Chuck & Ann
State: Colorado
Location: Calhan - 45 minutes NE of Colorado Springs
Equipment: Whizbang plucker, Scalder equipment, and place set up to process birds

Can help and show how the process works. The plucker and equipment is a lot to move so would need to come to our place.

hydroswiftbob, I added that you're interested in observing a caponization.

Everyone is in the spreadsheet up to this post. Thank you, all, for volunteering!

Granbury, Texas. Need to learn to process from start to finish. TexasRedDirt and Hydro, if someone is found to teach, perhaps we could make up a class along with anyone else in the area. Keeping fingers crossed here and subscribing

I have processed my own birds this year. My mom taught me who grew up doing so on a farm in Iowa. Am willing to help teach someone if they need it.

same here, minus a few word changes.. just across the river in western IL.. grew up doing our own birds...

prefer skinning them, for easy of speed, but can do it the old fashioned way.. call me weird, but i think these auto pluckers are a big hissy fit... banged and bruised up chicken isn't for me...

jody,
Industry, IL (western).
