Injured Chicken.

My friend takes in injured birds for recovery and she recently came across this chicken.

She's taken her to the vet to get her x-rayed, and the vet said it could possibly be a spine injury.

If anyone has seen anything similar to this and or has any comments on any ideas to treat this chicken it would be helpful.

The legs are limp.

Limp legs and the age of the bird would make me think of Mareks.
