if you want to breed them the combs will be your challenge .

I don’t plan on breeding them at the moment other than to my Ameraucana Cock to create olive Eggers. My little sister will probably show them at the local fair as well.

But we’ll see! I might change my mind in the future and end up with a Black Copper Marans pen!

You are wrapping up your hatching season just as we begin ours here in Kentucky. Congrats on your many many babies! My husband has decided to fire up the incubator next week to get some Game chicks hatched early. I dread brooding chicks in the dead of winter, but it must be done. On a positive note, I am finished with my BSN classes and will be graduating with a 4.0. Very stoked about that. Now I'll have more time for the chickens. :D

Congrats on that 4.0. That is no small task in a BSN program.

guess now we have to find out hard way by breeding them .
he is her sire ,so it is the first back crossing ,you will end up with few different type ,we see how they look and we take it from there ,

Sounds good. First we will have to wait for spring. It's nice to think that somewhere in this world people are having spring. It makes the cold a bit easier to take.

Your chicks look healthy and happy, ready to run :)
