her a mixture i make for them every 3 month ( 4 time a year )


so it is a mixture of chooks much plus Cod liver oil + dog food + mixed mineral + Diatom Earth .that will keep them happy and healthy .

I ll give them in they water one a week.

he s gorgeous .great type.
great copper. nice hackle with a minimum flames
nicely marked chest ( he s going to loose some of that copper when he molt)
gorgeous ears tuft
great eyes color.
pretty and correct head .
nice comb ,could be more tidy ( well serrated ) first dent with a sprig showing a little but is there. some will say it just a form a little rough .
long ,flat back
nice shanks color
and more .

only the thing i m not happy about is his shoulders. they are coppe colorr and not define . They should be nice rich red and just wing bow NOT spread all over the wings .

I didn't like my cockerel that looked like this at first. Now I see and like him the best. The long straight back can make the neck look short and the large rectangular body is different than so many breeds I see but if I am wrong tell me.... I like this body. He is like an ocean liner, not a sail boat.

that rooster is a great one to add color to the black hens progeny.

he will great over a black hens and well marked hens with black chest .

I ll not use him over hens with a spotted chest.over colored progeny.

that a problem with a Black copper we need to balance the 2 main colors Black and copper . the balance is the key.

That why I insist there is a difference between a show chook and a Breeder chook . they have different purposes in life.

Show bird is based on his/her look by him/her self

breeder bird need a partner to create a balance = future progeny

Yuo are correct about his body type 10 out 10 no point is going to be lost in that area for sure.

very hard to tell when they are in small cages .

the Neck should be medium length well strange . curved a little at the top .

his tail is great form and shape.
