I put #8 (FRF x LA pullet) in the pallet pen the other night. Her back does slightly slope uphill toward the tail starting at her mid back. Her eyes are marbled which is no biggie because Maximus has good eye color. One of her wattles had a notch in it. Other than that I think she looks pretty good. I moved Maximus to her pen this evening to give his 2 girls in the other pen a break.

Another FRFxLA pullet (#12) I have my eye on has a straighter back but is leaner in build. Her hackle is lighter too. I will try to get pics of #12 tomorrow.

Ok I am back and have some pics of our small flock. Turns out we have 2 roos and 2 hens. With 12 more fbcm eggs in the incubator I will be looking to get rid of one of the roos asap. They are all 14 weeks old today. If we need to hold onto them longer please let me know as today is the 1st day for the fbcm in the incubator. Oh Tail fethers look a little misplace he was just getting done doing the roo thing with another hen. Pens are being built asap.
