Thanks you, i think out of the bunch I'll have a couple good birds to choose from. I'm happy with them so far, there are a couple that are over colored but I'll make the best of it.

They are always better over colored in my opinion!

Put the overcolored with the over melanized. A lot of mine are over colored. Just another thing to work on.

I think if they grow up around them they will do fine. Mine knows not mess with the chickens and even brings them watermelon and treats. When he was a young pup he had a couple run ins with roosters. Needless to say he learned from those run ins, you should see a 110lb bully running from a 8lb rooster.

Mine is a big baby, this is where he is every night. Squeezed in thier recliner with me. I took this as we speak.

all my marans chooks are sold and left the property . they want to great homes . peoples are well pleased with them .

though 3 months .all good now .nothing to do for a wile .

I have a couple more day of chooks papers work and I ll start commenting on your lovely marans
