Hi everyone. I was hoping that you could give me your opinions on these two boys. Boy #1 is bigger than boy #2 though they are the same age (5-ish months).

Boy #1 is big but Boy too is a stud -stunning .
Boy #1 has straw colored hackle ans his legs does not look straight to me from the picture .

Boy #2 all class .
well balanced body .
gorgeous body marking and rich uniform copper -
his legs are well spaced and straight

Both are great type and both have great tail too .

Antonio is a stunning .
he matured to a handsome Roo.
every thing is correct except his back comb is droopy and his wattles are too big .
a little detail for the show . he is a 96 point for sure .

come on Redbank hatch some chicks from his .so you ll have time to let grow and mate them back to him at lease ones . to lock that type and body marking .

love the colour of his shank slate with pink coming through them .pure marans trait .not dark all the way .

Thank you. I didn't like boy #1's coloring too but he has size to him so I wanted to ask everyone before I made any decisions. This picture is boy #2 next to a crele orpington boy. Both the same age but the orp is around the same size as boy 1. Just to show the size difference.

we can see his legs are straight and well spaced Plus his tail is to die for

his rich copper is just an asset by it self .

size and mass can be fixed by mating him to a bigger hens

Body color from the Rooster

this gay will produce the most colorful progeny and correct body type . gorgeous eyes

to build a solid house you need a good foundation . not just size

don t forget a marans rooster need to weight between 3.5 to 4.5 Kg
they don t have to be massive .

I lost my main rooster and these are three of his offspring. The Black Copper is about 5 months. The two Blue Coppers where hatched June 13th.

Thank you, I appreciate your expertise He will probably be my guy then. I have 1 older hen I could pair him with right now but I have 2 young girls growing out that should be ready by spring. They're I think 12-14 weeks old right now, roughly. They're Little Peddler/Greenfire farms supposedly. Hopefully, they fill out and have nice body type too. There's one more but I'm still trying to decide if he's a he or she lol. Leaning toward he right now.
