if you mate her to the rooster I comment on .the great one with a comb problem you ll get 70% of the progeny will be correct for sure .the other 30% will have comb problem
you can select from the 70% for sure .

this pair will produced show winner for sure .

i can tell from her head she will produce great looking cockerel
the rooster has more pretty face .he will produce great looking pullets .problem solved in one pen . lot chicks from them

the Blue hens . looking her head .thick and robust .she will produce some great cockerel . cockerels line .the pullets will more of they father look .pullet line

Wow he is very nice .big long type .
I love every thing about him .he remind me of my Zambezi {Sold}
he ll throw some stunning progeny for sure .
he ll fix the high tail and short back problem you have with some of your marans .he is a great asset . keep him healthy and safe my friend tell he die by old age . he ll fathers countless generation .2 or 3 back crossing to him .

I don t need to comment on him .he is perfect . 98 point for sure

Thank you Chooks man! I'm glad to own him but can't take credit for breeding him. He was sent to me by Harvey Moore. Mr. Moore has very fine Marans and I'm hoping to see good birds come from them. I will also maintain my lines pure.

I received a pullet from Mr. Moore today to add to my entry in the Appalachain Classic next weekend. I will be taking 2 BCM pullets (one mine and one Harvey's) and I will be taking a cream legbar pullet and cockerel.

Here is the addition to my entry in the Appalachian Classic from Harvey Moore I received today. She is a big heavy and robust pullet. I adore her mass and tail set. This girl is pure royalty in my eyes. So I will name her Dutchess. Once she gets back from the show this girl will go in a single mated pen with my cockerel from Harvey. I have decided to name the cockerel Duke.

yeah sold all my marans . only have 6 roosters left .they are in my friend place .they where not nice when sold the chooks .no one want to take them .

I all ready both about 20 young marans stock .wheaten ,white and black copper .
need to find a place first .can t keep my chooks in my friend place ,

Can you ask him what is the relation between the cockerel and pullet .are they related . if yes .than what sort of relation .brother sister or cousin s .

They are brother/sister and share the same sire, but likely odds are they are from different hens. I plan on breeding the brother/sister together, then next year breeding the best son to the pullet and the best daughters back to the cockerel.

They are brother/sister and share the same sire, but likely odds are they are from different hens. I plan on breeding the brother/sister together, then next year breeding the best son to the pullet and the best daughters back to the cockerel.

Great .it is nice to work with half sibling .from the same sire.

you have great plan for them .line breeding is the only way to maintain the purity of any strain .
