I have 2-3 hens I am not sure if they are black or black copper. I will mate them to the elegant guy and see what I get.

I said to you buy the Elegante guy and a Blue cuckoo hen .that only what you really need to work with .get another Blue cuckoo hen if possible ,that will be helpful to you .

keep this line pure for a start to get a pure double barred silver cuckoos and pure Birchen line .Black and Blue .

you do no need many chooks to create a good line . make life easier for your self and work less harder .
focus in one goat and work toward it . if you want a birchen got the pair I m telling you to get .you don t need any thing else .

I told you .the Blue cuckoo rooster is not for you if you don t have a black cuckoo hen .

you can mate him to a Black copper hen and start a line from there .that will take a lot of time . but it is possible .

I will create olive eggers. an extra cockerel will be useful as well as he will be a back up. my friend in athens lost his bcm roo and now he has 9 laying hens and a bunch of non fertile eggs. minimum 2 roos is a must.

here one of my Blue cuckoo cockerel 4 month old single barred .
very hard to see a cuckoo pattern .

I m going to breed a Silver Black and Silver Blue out of this guy .
no more blue cuckoo for me . Cuckoo pattern is better over a black or a Buff body .
