I put the Birchen up for sale. I hope they go soon. That will leave me only 6 hens and 3 roosters! Makes me very nervous!!!

I understand that, I am worried about culling my flock and not finding anything better.

don t be nervous .6 hens and 3 rooster no bad . 3 breeding pairs .
that will free enough space for you ,so you can hatch more chicks .

do not get ready of your best hens .
have a look at the parent stock of the new chicks ,don t get them if the parent look not good .

Me I had to restart all over again not by chose . I had too .other wise I wouldn t sold my old stock .
start over is not some thing I like to do really . I like to keep a line and work on it as I go .
I like to breed a good chooks not having somebody else good chooks . like a collector .
breeding is fun .evolving with your lines as you go .

Okay I will take some tomorrow. I don't like the hens with no mass (smaller). The hens with no size to them are also laying lighter eggs with thin shells. I am thankful that I can talk to you again!
