last night I put together my BCM/BLCM breeding pen .so I move them in a month time I will start collecting they fertile eggs . I want to fire up the bator around Xmas time , that will give me 3 or 4 months of hatching .
2 breeding roosters I m using together with 12 selected hens .first is Copper nile super large and heavy with well feathered feet , the second is Phil short and stoky clean legs . both rooster have a complete body patern and stunning copper . Copper Nile has a black chest without ant marking but Phil has copper marking on his chest .
the hens are 4 Black copper - LoveSong . Madonna ,Amor and Philipine .
8 BLCM hens Dark Angel , Queen , measha , Fiona , shazia , sahara , shiny moon and blosom .
8 hens are very large the other 4 are midium all have long flat back and small pointed tail at the right angle . no more high tails for me .
not all of them lay dark eggs . .
some have nice combs other have bad combs .all have midium to lot legs feathering .

it is mid november and it is still dry here, no grass. from that point of view I did not loose the opportunity to garden. without rain gardening is not profitable. veggies on the farmer's market are cheaper than water.
You my friend in Europe have no rain and we here in oz have too much of it . Flooding every where .

can you send us some, lol.

it seems we shall have some deadly flooding here as well. I am glad my new house is on the top of the hill.
That is great your new house is on the top of the hill.
My new farm north is on the hills no flooding for me .
I have been in oz for so long I never seen so much rain like this couples of years . Rain and rain so much of it .

I googled -40 f to c and it says it is -40 c. I googled again and found the same result. -25 f = -31,667 c.

btw, the lowest temperature I experienced is -25 c, should be -13 f. no more winter sports for me.

as I explained in my previous post they talk about -40 c!
the funny thing is that -40 is the same in both Celsius and Fahrenheit! Still cold, yes.

Someday, I will have my breeder barn. I am going to get there.
