Welcome to BYC. If no one else is willing to take him you might as well give him a chance. Hopefully he will survive and have a happy life with his new flock.

I am going to wait and see if anyone else will take him before I do. It’s not looking like it though but I have like a month before they need him gone.

I will! Here is a photo of him. He looks really strong and healthy right now. I am still on the fence about what is best for him. He lives with Guinea Fowl right now as his old flock has too many roosters and he gets picked on. I just wonder if it’s worth the risk to give him his own flock to protect while risking Mareks.

Well, if in a month and nobody took him, and he was getting culled, maybe then it would be a no-brainer. He might live out his days with you just fine. If he got Marek's, then you may wind up putting him down yourself, but at least he got to live a good life for a while longer.
