Is he sick or still nervous?

Got their 3 month Isbar Cockerel and have been noticing him in this odd posture. I was wondering if he’s sick or can it be from him still being nervous. I got him two days ago, and the hens aren’t too nice yet.

Did you quarantine him before exposing him to your flock? If he is sick, you don't want him passing something on to the hens.

He might just be nervous. Is there a way to separate him in the run so the hens can see him but not bully him?

He’s separated in a dog crate, I just put him on top of the crate for the picture. But it’s very obvious to him that one of the hens keeps trying to get to him.
