007 IF Lumpy IS a child and not a troll cracking a cold one and living large on his iPhone....Then he should be going down this road of hatchery WITH his father or mom not sitting in front of a screen or iPhone
Ok so this wasn't a concern for me I'm not going to get into depth why, but just now that if there was another case of pinkeye, I would not catch it even with direct contact. Anyways, I read some of it but then realized it would also aply to the egg, so it would just get sick. OK I'll stop. Maybe later in life, I will try again maybe with some plastic wrap around the egg or maybe... Well for anyone else out there that pondered this, just don't not because it won't work, but what if it does work but the chicken dies as soon as it comes out? Do you really want that also if anyone has any idea how and where to build an incubator please let me know
You want to keep the egg in a sports cup... against your crotch?
Are you serious?
Go back and read everything.I've only read the first couple posts in an effort to save time.
Build a bator.
You'll need a styrofoam container,
Wire with plug
A 60W bulb
Socket
Thermostat.
Get an adult to help.
Line the socket up halfway up the wall of the container and cut a hole just large enough to fit the socket in securely. Do not put it in yet.
Being very careful, wire the wire to the lightbulb, then screw the lightbulb into the socket.
Line the thermostat up centered in the wall of the container and cut holes to secure the thermostat from the inside with the wiring facing outside.
Wire the thermostat to the same wire connected to the light.
Secure the thermostat and light. Plug the wire in and let the incubator run for an hour while you work to stabilize temperature.
