IS IT too late in the year to raise meat birds for 8-10 weeks????

Katy--found the card! My DD found it in a pair of shorts she "borrowed" from my room! hahaha

Anyhoo-Im building my chicken tractor solo today and am getting my butt kicked bad! My back is breaking but I can still visualize the finished product. I making it so that when the meaties are gone I can use it for a chicken house for the winter-so its alot bigger than expected! DH gave me permission to have at his wood supllies! poor man!

isn't it crazy; I live in the country, on a lake, next to the river, and surounded by farm land. We have racoons, badgers, mink, fox, coyote, feral cats, owls, heron, hawks, falcon, & eagles. I have only ever lost one bird to a predator and that was mink and that darn thing was so brave he stood there over my dead roo while I went and got the gun and came back and shot him.
I don't know why, but I am happy!
