Hi lovely people!
My Muscovy duck is about to turn 7 weeks and while I’m 90% sure she’s a girl I figured I’d ask the experts just to be sure before I start training her to come when her name is called haha.
The reason I think she’s a girl is because when compared to the other one I had (who I’m thinking was a boy) there were quite a few differences. I read that girls get feathers sooner and she seemed to be a few weeks ahead of him, even though they were the same age. He also had way bigger feet (he passed away last week, hence the past tense)
The only reason I’m starting to doubt myself is because Penny has quite a crest on her! I know girls have them too but she raises her quite high so just wanna make sure she’s definitely a Penny and not a Sheldon lol (Big Bang Theory!)
Pics below! Tired to capture her crest and wings.
Thank you so much!!

EDIT: she usually doesn’t raise her crest, usually only when washing herself or she’s super excited. Otherwise her little head is flat lol
