Is Q9 still here?

I might actually watch that when I get home. Just for you. Because you were missed.

Not by me...but someone missed ya.

nah, you don't bother me, you remind me of me when i was young, what innacuracies? And which text book? Most school text books are full of innacuracies but i am just being nosy now.

The title should give it away - "A Patriot's History of the United States."

Just the first MAJOR ones in the first few chapters - they refer to the North as non-slaveholding and the South as slaveholding, at a time when EVERY state had slaves. They also call the Alien and Sedition Acts "arguably" unconstitutional.

That one nearly made me scream. I'm going to halt right now, before I launch into an epic rant. I'll rant on my blog tomorrow or Saturday about it.

Actually, tomorrow I'll be seeing the new Pirates of the Caribbean movie with a friend, so the blog rant will have to be Saturday.

Be it accurate or not. And I've seen your picture, I could make myself say it.

This is the girl who calls Em young, remember.

Oh, that was terrible.

You seemed like such a nice person, but now you've revealed your true colors.

Totally random - I think that possibly the above expression (revealing your true colors) came from pirates who would fly the flag ("colors") of a friendly nation, then on approaching the victim, they would fly their black flag - the "true colors." Just a hypothesis that has nothing to do with anything.

Yes, Em gets pretty POed if she's called old. I told her that I was rasied to respect my elders, and that opened up a whole 'nother can of worms.

She's only 23. And I'm not THAT bad. She teases me about serial killers in my shower!

That hypothesis is actually correct.

How'd you do that?

Be careful - she's more powerful than you can guess.

She is apparently capable of bribing zombies.

Well, I read a lot of stuff about the 17th-19th centuries, and just remembered that the term "colors" was often used in reference to flags. Watching Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides probably helped jog my memory of irrelevant pirate stuff. Also the fact that I just read a biography of the great Confederate privateer Captain Raphael Semmes. Having a correct hypothesis makes me happy.

Yeah, but I'm capable of flattery. Apparently in her little world, flattery trumps zombies. I'm not going to argue.

All she's done is make a pet out of me.
