Still nothing from the duck. I am planning to take her to the vet tomorrow; I hope that will be soon enough. Can someone give me an idea of brands of water-based lubricants I might want to try tonight?

Okay, having NO experience with trying to dislodge a stuck egg, I have heard that if you break it inside the bird, it's likely to cause infection and worse. Would I be better off waiting for morning and the vet?

Def they can give her s shot of Calcium gluconate and hope that will get it moving

I think the others gave great advice. I haven’t experienced this, thank goodness, but crushed oyster shells are great.
