So we dont know the first thing about showing or even where we would go...I am just curious about our little guy. Barred Bantam Cochin. We love him either way!

I think he is gorgeous!
I don't show but I raise them and others have gotten plenty from me that they show.

I know his comb is wrong but to learn more about this fabulous breed and maybe get some great little girls to go with him and raise you some SQ kids read the SOP (standard of perfection) for bantam Cochins and breed as closely as possible to that.

I know it can be a bit off putting to read through material such as this but it will give you general ideas about how they should look all around.
Having said that, I breed for what I like. I just happen to like what the standard calls for most of the time but I have a lot of breeding pens with unacceptable colors and I seldom ever look at combs or outside toenails. It is just in the genetics on mine.

I love me some bantam Cochins!
