Is this a breast bone sticking out or a growth?

I thought DE was good for keeping the smell down in a coop, even after it gets clean. Also, now I'm confused about the Valbazen....does she get (or even the other 5 birds) once and then again in 10 days or 3 days straight and then repeat again in 10 days?

Valbazen is a very good wormer. The dosage depends on what worm you are treating for. Most worms can be treated with two doses 10 days apart, which is what I would do. Tapeworm requires different dosing. Tapeworm is often visually seen in droppings, looks like grains of rice and often are moving if fresh. For a standard sized chicken I use .5 ml dose, 10 days apart. Here is a link to an old post with info on dosing and the math o_O: https://www.backyardchickens.com/threads/valbazen-dosage.917698/
There are very mixed opinions on DE. IMHO it is fine in the coop, or dustbath area to help prevent external parasites, as long as it's not in amounts that could cause respiratory issues. DE will not work mixed in feed to kill internal parasites.
And DE is only effective when it's dry. Wet DE is useless. I use wood ash more than DE, and I think it is equally if not more effective for mites.

Kikis, Please stop saying this.

DE is VERY good for birds and all animals. It DOES help with fleas on cats and dogs, and use it on my birds, never seen a mite on them.
I agree with @KikisGirls , it is a waste of money and I wish people would stop promoting it.

I have another question....I have 2 separate coops both with playyards, each coop has 3 chickens in each since they do not get along with each other. All the birds were treated with Valbazen already and now I noticed in the other coop that hadn't shown any symptoms but were treated, now have tape and roundworms. I'm not sure what I can do now as I've also read on one of the forums about using another dewormer first for roundworms and then use Valbazen. It was also suggested to move them to another place so they don't eat the worms....I don't have that luxury. What should I be doing to kill those worms on the ground?

So are you saying that you treated all your birds..(which was smart) and the ones that originally were NOT showing symptoms of worms are not pooping out both tape and round worms?
I'd get a shovel and pick the worms up.

Well yes and no. The Rockettes (they are 3 barred rocks) are all at a good weight so I really didn't look at their poo until today. I was mainly concerned for my sick hen and now I just decided to take a closer look at all of them. Ok, to the birdcoop with a shovel I go.
