I got this little one has a baby. She was sold as a orpington but as her feathers came in it was obvious she was not. Pretty sure she’s a barred rock.
She has the paint wash legs, had a spot on her head as a baby.
But now at 5/6 weeks I’ve notice waddles coming in.. her comb is yellow but the bottom base is pink
Last pic was of same chick younger prolly around 3-4 weeks

Pullet?

Edit: mostly based on the last pic, as a 3-4 week old. And isn't double barring a male trait? Doesn't look double. All you eggsperts out there, educate me?
Also, agree BR.😊

Where did you get the chick? In my experience, many people at the big box stores selling chicks have no clue about what they sell. If something got mislabeled, they would have no idea.

I know a little about the 10 breeds I have purchased, but there are many more chicks out there that I would not be able to identify. I had a Buff Orpington, but she was solid gold. There are many varieties of orpingtons and your chick might fall into one of those categories. When she is fully feathered, it will be easier to identify her.

Anyways, your chick is a little sweetheart whatever breed she grows into. I hope someone with more experience can help you identify your chick.
