Isabel~Lavender Wheaten~Ameraucana Project NPIP 35++ New Pics added

Egg color looks good, especially for a project! The Wheaten girls layed a very light egg - almost ice blue. The lavender's eggs were on the green side of blue. Most of these eggs are much better than both with one girl laying more on the green side, but most a nice soft blue.

The project eggs are in the back, the center green egg is from our old EE & the white egg is Dorking & the other 3 are Dominique. I have 3 separate coops & 7 breeding pens in my large coop. The Isabel Project Ameraucanas run is covered to prevent Houdini from escaping.

Are these from my stock?

Nope... I had lavender, split & project chicks in spring 2010. My project girls didn't show the red markings as they grew & I wasn't sure if they were splits or project so I sold them to a friend who wanted the colored eggs. I started fresh last december using the lavender cockerel(Pips & Peeps) I posted on the first page over the wheaten(Marquisella) girls in the same post. My project cockerel hatched Christmas day & the girls hatched in the two following weeks. I didn't breed lavenders & splits till my project chicks were a few months old kept none to alleviate any possible confusion.

Believe me, I would've been hatching Isabel chicks instead of hatching my own F!s if they were from your stock! I would most certainly have given you credit if they were your stock. We have parallel projects going with different bloodlines, which is a very good thing!

Thanks! I'm trying to keep the projects to a minimum. I've been working on the Lavender Orpington Project for 3 years. I'm also working with Paint Silkies. If I had unlimited space & funds I'd work on many, many more projects!!

We're up to 35 eggs! I'll add in whatever they lay before I pack them to give the best chance for Isabel chicks!

My incubator only holds 24. No!.......I can't bear to keep bidding and waste the extras. This is the only time extra eggs have ever been a bad thing!
