I just picked up the grand daughter (almost 5 yo). We're going to try to go up to the Jambalya Festival tomorrow in Gonzalas.

My piercer contacted me and told me that she is still technically training with scarification, so she cannot do mine. At She recommended I go to one of our state's finest artists, but it is too far for me.

I burned the hell out of my thumb last week. Think I could take a sharpie and do a little scarification with that?

I mean same reason you catch other fish. To eat or for sport. This was for sport. They turned them loose. People do it. I have caught them, but only one on purpose. She didn’t know them. Just happen to be walking by when they were catching the first one. Stayed around awhile and they latched into the Tiger a short time later. It took both boys a long time to get it in. She said they had to sit down on the sand and dig a hole to anchor their feet in to keep from getting pulled in. They made the comment that it was the biggest they had ever caught.

My point is, why would someone try to catch a shark that could kill them?

That was a decent size Tiger Shark. They get a hell of a lot bigger, though. And, they are one of the more aggressive sharks.

I'm in West Virginia this weekend, hubby and I are looking for land. And I've been sick, went to urgent care today, have strep. So, that's been fun

Why do people go in the water where they live and eat. A lot of people down there right now. They never really know just how close they get to sharks when they get in that water. But, I can’t say anything, because I do it, too.

I hope you feel better real soon! Strep is a right beeotch to deal with. Drink lots of tea to reduce swelling, and do not forget to gargle warm salt water!

I don't like hot tea, I drink iced tea. But the salt water is a good idea
