I don't know what that is, but it sounds like something based on people living in a barren wasteland that people in a barren wasteland would watch to feel more accomplished about living in said barren wasteland.

Hopefully not. An unusual name isn't the worst thing in the world. I think what really stinks for kids is when parents spell it very strangely so that no one could ever possibly spell it correctly on their first try.

My boys both have biblical names. My oldest daughter has a more old fashioned name but it's not old lady sounding like Norma. Actually, the year after she was born, her name exploded in popularity so I feel kind of bad but what can you do?
My other daughter has a more unique name but it's not strange. People often comment on how gorgeous it is. With her name though, there's a variation of spellings and I chose which one I liked the best but people usually spell it incorrectly.
