It's just....... I also remember saying that Annabelle works in "business days" okay? So technically I have until 11:59PM on Tuesday for her to lay that egg... :woot
oh ya you did say she worked in business days! so does that mean my 7 days is actually 11 days since the weekends won't count? haahaa!

I lost notification on this thread somehow. So my girls have been laying all summer now my brahma stopped(she was molting but she is done now) do you know if she will start laying again? The funny story with my brahma is she was suppose to be a buff brahma. And then she turned out to be a brahma.
not sure what kind of Brahma she is. there is Buff which is the orange/buff color (they all have black too), Light Brahma which is white, and then Dark brahma which is more of a darker grayish color.........

Sorry I have no clue if she will start laying again. Some stop laying in the winter but know that I have read that Brahmas are one breed that will lay all winter. Guessing where she went through a molt that once she is completely done with that she will start to lay again. When did she finish her molt? How old is she? Mine are just about 7 mo and haven't started laying yet. :(

She Is a light brahma, she started molting about 4-5 weeks ago. Her feathers are coming back in so I figured she was almost done.

Was this her first molt? Hatched this year? I think from their start of molt it takes about a month, and then a couple extra weeks to get back into cycle... I would think she will get back to laying over the next couple of weeks!

I am pleased to announce... the egg strike is over.

Zoingo finally blessed me with one of her large, lovely egg this morning. I could have cried. LOL it's not as round as she had been laying before... it will be interesting to see if they stay similar to this shape now or become more round-ish again!

I have 2 light Brahmas. Such pretty girls. How old are yours? I agree with Mocha that I would think they would start to lay again in the next couple weeks.
