no since they aren't washed yet they don't have to go in the fridge. it wasn't extremely cold but cold enough since the mornings have been cold here.I have a question. If they were cold when got them do they need to go right into the fridge?

such pretty eggs!!!! it just looks like a spot that didn't get color to me. but I am not sure about worms at all but wouldn't think it would make a spot like that, but I am new and haven't had to deal with that at all, yet...Is the white dribble normal? Or does that mean worms?
I red somewhere that if the eggs have a smear of poo the hen likely has worms. The first one just had the lighter piment on top with no white marbling.such pretty eggs!!!! it just looks like a spot that didn't get color to me. but I am not sure about worms at all but wouldn't think it would make a spot like that, but I am new and haven't had to deal with that at all, yet...
hmmmmm I haven't heard that before. Nugget seems to always have a dirty bum (she has a bit of a fluffy bum) so every so often her eggs have poo on them. I just need to give her a bath to clean her bum but it is chilly out now so really hoping I don't have to since I don't really have anywhere to keep here to get dry and warm since I have 4 cats and 2 dogs in my house.I red somewhere that if the eggs have a smear of poo the hen likely has worms. Good for you. I bet it was the most delicious omelet!I made an omelet for dinner with the two! I know I should have waited or maybe saved the first one. BUT, I have been wanting eggs.
I have three who will lay the dark brown with brown spots. They should be any day. Then my Penciled Plymouth Rock is ready too all 4 are 6 months.
Ooooooo now that is a double-yolker, I'd bet! It's random, but common in new layers. My BCM threw two in a row this past week without a day off inbetween(first 2 in the pic of course):Weighing in at a whopping 73g! Usually she lays about 50g eggs.
I absolutely adore themmmmmm. Tell her I said good job on color choice! It is a really pretty color though, it is like a really light pinkish tinted tan.
