She is too funny! She was like ok I have .2 seconds to get this done so I need to do it as fast as I can! LOL

OMG I did not know this! We have one for my cats and the puppy loves it too. Now I will have to bring it out and try it on the chickens. (too bad it has been FREEZING lately so I don't spend as much time out there as I should).

Are your chickens pretty friendly? Mine act like dogs! I love them! I wonder my ducks are so scared?I hope your hen gets ducklings! Does she have a name?
I am so jealous yours act like dogs. I wanted this so bad and spent HOURS upon HOURS with them when they were in the brooder, then once we moved them outside I would sit out there for hours and maybe get one or two to come up to me but that was it. Then they stopped doing that. Now if I go to touch one (besides Annabelle who still squats for me) they all run away. :( I read they got friendlier once they got to laying age so really hoped they would go back to how they were when younger and while the 3 laying aren't as bad as they were they are not super friendly.

ok so my story time of the day.... (it is funny now but wasn't at the time). So I head out to the coop and the puppy (6 mo old and wants to desperately get in that run and play with the chickens) of course had to follow me since he can not be left behind at all. LOL So I have a way of opening the run door and keeping the puppy back (he has really gotten good at not trying to sneak in finally) and I move my foot to keep the chickens from trying to run out when he is out. So I do that today and then hear the puppy behind me start to run around (oh and I am on the phone at the time), well Nugget must have been on the other side of me and I didn't see her so she snuck past me! So the puppy is now chasing the chicken, the chicken is running, then trying to fly all around and way from said puppy. I am yelling at the puppy to stop and while he is a good dog he hasn't quite gotten the grasp of listening all the time). I shut the door to the run, try to get hte puppy or the chicken. They then run under the trampoline, then chicken comes running out with puppy rght behind. He tries to grab her and she managed to tuck her butt and fly off, then I manage to grab the puppy. Well now i am trying to hold my phone, didn't think to say I had to go while trying to get puppy or chicken, hold onto the puppy and open the run door with out anyone else getting out (puppy didn't have his collar on either so I had him squeezed between my legs with one arm around his chest (he is 64lbs or so). get the door open and Nugget can't figure out how to walk around the door (it opens out)to get back in the run so she is running around the other side of the door. I finally think to get off the phone, I am yelling at Nugget to get on the other side so she can get in. She actually starts going and puppy moves so she freaks out and runs the other way again.... FINALLY get her to the other side so I can open the door and she scoots on in....... The puppy was so happy and excited he got to play with his chicken friends finally. Nugget was NOT too happy with her exercise of the day but glad she managed to escape with out any injuries. I was out of breath and ready to be done. I told my husband the story and he was wishing someone was there to record it all. LOL It was an adventure and scary at the time but OMG so funny when I think about it now since noone was injured at all during all of this. It probably only lasted maybe 3 min total but at the time felt like 20 (it may have been longer, but felt like it was forever even though it was all in speed motion).

Lol!!!! Please let me know if they go for it. I thought it was the funniest thing watching the train of chickens chasing the dot. I had to throw them some mealworm treats after because I felt like I had teased them.

My girls are super friendly - but they don't have a rooster, so I think maybe that is why they follow me around instead. (Or because they know I bring them special things to eat hahahahaha)
