Oh..OK. Sorry, I mis-under-read your post.No, of the 3 eggs I removed and cracked open 2 of the eggs were just yolks with no development. The picture is of the 3rd one which had a blood ring and no movement that I could see also when broke open no movement also.
I have never broken open a blood ring egg.
But I usually don't pull them if there's an embryo, I probably would have left that one in until day 14 or 18 and there was no more growth.
The embryos don't always move when you candle, many of them will not.
I mark air cells and sometimes make note on egg near cell tracing...M for moving, BR for blood ring, sometimes just a ? if something looks odd.
My first hatch I often didn't know what I was seeing most the time,
learned more as the incubation progressed....and even more with subsequent hatches.
Now I hardly candle at all, but can spot things quicker.
