Yesterday when I got off work, the second I got home I had to jump out of my car and into the truck for my 6 hour drive up north. After working all day then drive for 6 hours, load up the truck and drive 6 hours home, oh and a stop at the casino on the way back! On the drive up it was a few 'barf stops' for the mom to be of my 2nd grandchild, hee hee, poor girl!!
Anyhoooo, so no egg checking yesterday, then I read this so I went to check for eggs in the chicken pen, but Red is sitting on the nest getting ready to lay, so then I went into the barn, where Cotton ran to first thing when I let the chickens out this am, AND YES!! there is an egg from Cotton this morning! All perfect and everything! So when Red gets off the nest in the coop, I will check there too, for yesterdays eggs. They all lay in the same place even though there are several places.
Oh, oops, I think it is C1 in the nest box, not Red, its starting to get hard to tell them all apart at times. Red is older, and C1 and C2 are 6 1/2 months and Hay and Bale haven't started laying yet, they are a little too young still, but Rhodie and Red are still bigger than C1 & 2, oh my! Not a good idea to have several chickens of the same breed if you want to keep their names straight!! hee hee
Boo, that sounds awesome! Me and my girls are only a few weeks away from a Disney Cruise to the Bahamas. I can't wait. Besides canada, I've never been anywhere outside of the US.
except that time you climbed a coconut tree and took a picture and told people you were in Madagascar....when you were really in a fake tree at the local mini-golf range.
That sounds exciting bluey! In 1991 my dh took me to Puerto Rico for my b-day. It was so cool.
How's this for a classic story...
My son holding the umbrella over dil in the pouring down rain while she is barfing in the trash at the rest stop. I wish I would of had my camera!
My turn for the shower, gotta get ready for work. No, the front porch pool is put away until next summer.
