Ivermectin and ignorance

The kicker with this approach is that, as many have pointed out, it has NOT been vigorously tested in the same way other products are, AND you have no legal protection should something go wrong.
Great post! And you do a good job of identifying the 'kickers' from the individual's perspective. However, this entire conversation is lacking with regard to the numerous 'kickers' that occur for society as a whole when people choose to experiment on themselves with something like ivermectin instead of taking the vaccine. Some of which include:

1. Every unvaccinated person walking around in society is a vector for the virus to infect and mutate, again and again; potentially beocming more dangerous and resistant to the vaccine.

2. Every unvaccinated person can potentially infect vulnerable children and immunocompromised individuals who do not *have* the 'freedom' to get a vaccine.

3. Every unvaccinated person can potentially get very sick and take up space in hospitals, leaving no space for cancer patients and heart attack patients etc. to get treated. We've already seen this.

Ivermectin is only (debatably!) useful as a treatment after people are already infected. People who think only of themselves and decide to forgo vaccination and rely on experimental anti-parasite treatment are a danger to society as a whole.

Everybody is tip-toeing around this fact because nobody wants to make anyone else feel bad. In the meantime, children are dying because adults won't get vaccinated. It's heartbreaking.

Very well put and all three of your "kickers" are mostly correct. But you omitted #4. #4 would be that numerous fully vaccinated people are contracting covid, spreading it around to friends and family, getting sick, dying, taking up hospital space, and causing children to die.

If you are going to post facts .... post all the facts. Not just the ones that make your side look good.

Sure, but the difference is, those who are vaccinated have done everything they possibly can to protect, not only themselves, but those around them as well. Is it perfect protection? Nope.

As for my “side” I’m on the side that gets our world and economy and lives back to normal as quickly as possible. What other side is there? We ALL want that!

Facts..
Like the fact that the vaccine was never touted as a 100% protection.
The vaccine "reduces" chances of infection, "reduces" transmission, and "reduces" symptoms.

Facts..
I suggest you ask your local ICU Doctors how many of the patients making it to their departments are vaccinated vs unvaccinated.
I've seen a personal diary from such a doctor - stating that 98% of patients coming to him are non vaccinated, stating that previous versions of Covid took a month or so to kill patients but Covid-Delta can take 24-48 hours.
The fact is that people are having discussions without ALL the relevant information.

NZ has largely avoided Covid - but Delta has recently arrived and we are trying to lockdown our way out of a larger outbreak. In the meantime - here are some NZ facts for you:

Currently we have 511 known positive cases.
Of those 34 people are hospitalised.
Of those 34 people, NONE of them are fully vaccinated, only 8 of them have had one dose.

To date we have had zero deaths attributed to the vaccine.

Vaccine injury is very real. The only way I can protect myself from vaccine injury is by not taking them. It has been shown that the vaccinated can carry just as high of a viral load as the non-vaccinated, therefore, they can just as easily spread it and trigger mutations.

Stay in your lane. Stop blaming the non-vaccinated.

Using that logic you should:

Never drive a car (because vehicular accidents, when they happen, cause harm)
Never eat peanuts (IF you choked on one, you might die)
Etc. Etc.

IN the context of Covid-Vax. Does the potential benefit of not taking the vaccine outweigh the potential benefit of taking the vaccine??
