Hi Viola, yes I remember you. As I recall you had a great hatch too. I appreciate the pics of them you shared with me. Did your BCMs turn out 2 roos 2 hens like you were thinking?I hatched some of your marans and wellies a few months back, the color on the Marans eggs was PARTICULARLY impressive, there is nothing like actually seeing it in person!can't wait til they start laying!!

Well I just candled again. I'm 90% sure one egg is dead, no change. The other egg still has a small air cell, but I always candle from the same side (I don't turn the eggs at all) and I normally see a light space under the dark shadow. I candled again this afternoon and the whole egg was almost completely dark, I did still see some viens (I think) near the air cell. Could the chick have moved? Grown? Maybe still some hope?
