Janoel 12 incubator help!!

I purchased a janoel 12 incubator.. I have no idea what to do with it as ive never hatched eggs before... And the directions that came with it are very hard to understand.
I'm hatching duck eggs. Pekin/rouen i believe.

Just looking for some help.

I would plug it in and see what the little display says. Hopefully it’s in Fahrenheit, and should be preset for about 99 degrees. Does it have air circulation or an egg turner inside?

Oh my bad, just saw that it says egg turner right on the front lol.

So there should be a spot to put some water to keep the humidity up. Put some water there, plug it in, make sure it warms up to an appropriate temp, and you should be good to go.

How do you increase/decrease humidity? Nothing for that.

Open the lid and post a pic of the inside. Should just be a humble unassuming groove or indention. Did you plug it in and see what happened yet?

Has anyone used this before?

i just got the same one....played with it a little today as my eggs are due to arrive wednesday. if you press the set button and use +/- buttons to scroll through it will give you the menu for settings. I am planning to look up more info but was able to set humidity in that menu. I also purchased a separate hygrometer unit to give me temp readings in F and actual humidity during incubation to double check accuracy of the unit. Are you joining in on the hatch-a-long?
