OR: You could take some poo and put a little there each day.. And then when he says, "Where did this poo come from?!" You can say, "My chickens have been locked up all day! So, it wasn't my chickens after all!"

But in all seriousness, remember that what goes around, comes around -- doubt that secrety placing poop on his porch (or similar actions) is going to do much to show him the "error of his ways" and/or help curb his chicken shooting habit.

Best bet, long term, is to find a way to keep your chickens off his land -- "fences make for good neighbors", and all that...

i think the biggest problem of all this is it is his brother and that makes it worse because one wouldn't think ones brother would do something like this when his dog runs all over the others yard to and uses part of the others garden seems like the brother needs some lessons in how to be a family

I would venture to guess that this was not a one time occurance. I like my chickens a lot but I keep them penned because I don't like them pooping on my sidewalks and porch and I can see why her brother didn't like it either. Keep your chickens home and then he won't have any reason to shoot them. Putting poop on his porch isn't going to solve anything and will only add fuel to the fire. Personally I'd love to hear the brother's side of it....you know what they say, there's always 3 sides to any story...his, hers and the truth.

I see adds for free horse/cow poop all the time. Get a trash can full of that and dump on his porch. Now if I had a brother that hot one of my hens I'd be going over there and crapping on his porch. Nothing like a railing or lawnchair for support LOL
