Hen or Rooster

Thanks for all the responses, it’s as I suspected. However he has never crowed, is that normal for a 5 month old Rooster?
He is a real pretty boy. I don't know too much about the breed, however, I have a white jersey giant rooster myself. He crows, but only in the morning. The rest of the day he is quiet! (the hens make up for it however!) He is a very gentle rooster to humans and his hens as well. He takes care of his flock and warns them of danger (with the strangest horse whinny sound!) and also calls them to get the worm treats he finds. Mine rooster's name is Harvey, like the white rabbit in the Jimmy Stewart movie Harvey. Harvey is almost two times the size of the hens. I hope your rooster will be as nice as Harvey! He is a little over a year old and eats out of my hand. Good Luck!

Cockerel, for sure. I got a random JG hen mixed in with my 4 Black australorps (on accident from the hatchery) they are almost the exact age as your boy and she has a much smaller comb, not as red, too. And her tail feathers are more hen like. Your cockerels tail feathers are a dead give away. Let me see if i can get a picture of mine today. She is my most skittish hen so it might be hard.....
