Jinxed myself, actual missing duck, at least 1 injured. Any help / advice appreciated.

Oh my goodness, she is going NUTS seeing hay again  This is about the loudest happy duck chatter I’ve ever heard.

She’s getting some much needed quality time with her birdies. I’m thinking I’ll have her moved out of the tub within the next few days.

She’s officially moved out! She’s spending her first night in a crate in the duck house :)

Everyone also did pretty good today all together supervised. Strangely her boyfriend is the one being the meanest? He chases her away when she gets too close. I’m not sure I understand that behavior.
My other boy is being okay, and the girls complained for a while but have since calmed down.

Hopefully it won’t be too long now. I can’t wait for her to go out and be a duck again!!! :D

I will admit, I had serious doubts she would pull through. You (and the vet!) did a fantastic job! I am so happy for you! :hugs
Thank you! And me too.. Even after the surgery and everything, it took me at least a week to begin believing she would make it. I kept expecting to go check on her and find that she’d passed, but no!!

It was so nice going out this morning and counting all 12 ducks 💕

Hey, I’ve got a problem suddenly.

Blanca began limping a bit on her right leg yesterday afternoon. I put her to bed early in hopes she could rest overnight, but this morning, the limp is worse. She can’t walk far without lying down and is holding her foot in the air whenever she’s standing. What happened?? There’s no bumble, and her legs feel about the same. She’s pretty alert and wanting to get out and do ducky things.

I just had my Buff goose limping randomly too a few days ago, but she’s doing better now. Could it be the same thing?? Will it resolve on its own, or should I treat her with something?

I have her back in the tub and I am running a bath.
